Solo Art Exhibition
A solo exhibition, "Art and Soul, Wilderness Drawings," of J B Sullivan's work is scheduled for April 1 - May 28 at the Red Rocks Community College library in Lakewood, Colorado. Sullivan's exquisite drawings of creatures and critters will be on display for students, faculty, and the public.
Sullivan's specialty is graphite with an occasional touch of color. Hundreds of pencil strokes go into each piece, resulting in a realistic, representational style of immense depth.
An artist's reception will be held on April 5, from 6 - 8 PM. The public is invited to meet the artist and enjoy the art. 10% of all sales will be donated to the Red Rocks Community College Foundation.
The library is open M-TH 8-7, F 8-4, S 10-2 and located at the main campus, just off of Indiana Street and 6th Avenue at 13300 W 6th Avenue, Lakewood, CO 80228. 303-914-6000.

A Colorado native, Sullivan's career as an adult learning specialist, a social science researcher, a professor of public speaking, and an artist who creates exquisite drawings add up to being an entertaining speaker. Described as possessing an awesome voice, Sullivan has won awards for both his speaking and his art.
Presentations
"Adventures With Animals" Educational, entertaining, and inspiratinal, this resentation resonates with stores from nature. For groups of all ages from children to grandparents.
"Creating Excellent in Art" Sullivan explores methods that artists can use to improve their own development. Adventure stories, practical advice, and lessons from the art world stimulate new thinking. For artists' guilds, workshops, and conferences.
"Portraits I Have Known" Portraits are one of the most demanding art challenges. Come be inspired by Sullivan's tackling of portrait subjects. This program speaks to the artist's hear and sould when creating portraits. For artists, guilds, art classes.
